It lets you save an existing section or create a new one and re-use it on all of your PageFly or Shopify pages. Saved sections can be used in multiple pages and will automatically sync with the original section.

If you want to show content from PageFly inside an existing Shopify page, you cannot directly embed a PageFly section into that page. Instead, save the section in PageFly, publish it, then add the saved section to the Shopify page. Header, footer, and navigation in PageFly

PageFly does not provide a built-in header, footer, or menu/navigation builder for your store theme.

You cannot create or edit the store header/footer with PageFly.
Header, footer, and navigation menus are controlled by your Shopify theme.
To customize them, go to Shopify admin > Online Store > Themes > Customize.

Why is my PageFly page not updating after I make changes?

Problem

The customer's PageFly page was not displaying correctly after a theme update, and a previous version update also caused syncing issues. Your changes may appear correctly in the editor or preview, but not yet on the live page.

Solution

You can follow some steps to fix this issue:

Access Theme Code
Open theme.liquid file
Add this liquid code in head tag like this image: https://prnt.sc/BALAjKnKiXWB To make sure your changes are reflected on the published page:
Save your work.
Publish the page.
Close the editor tab after saving to avoid overriding issues while the page is being checked or updated.
Open the live page and refresh it.
If the update still does not appear, check the page in incognito/private mode because it may be a cache or temporary updating issue.
If needed, compare the editor/preview with the live page again after a short wait.

If you are working with support and they need to check the live page, they may ask for permission to publish changes first.

Problem

A user wants to transfer a PageFly page from one website/store to another. A user wants to export and import a PageFly page or section, either to transfer it to another store or to recreate a section that is showing an error when reopened.

Solution

Use the import/export feature within PageFly. Follow this guide: https://help.pagefly.io/pages-and-sections-creation/general/export-import-pages Use the import/export feature within PageFly.

To export a page or homepage, open it in the PageFly editor, select the page, then click Export.
To import it back, use the Import option in PageFly and upload the exported file.
If a saved section shows an error or fails to load, a workaround is to export the section, then import it again. After that, edit and publish the imported section, and replace the old section if needed.

To use a template in the editor:

Open the PageFly editor for the page type you want to create.
Click the 3-dot icon on the right side to open Page Templates.
Choose the template you want.
Click Select this template.
Click I understand what I'm doing to confirm.

If you want to create a page from the dashboard instead, click Create from templates, choose the page type, then open the editor and select your template.

If you want to build only one part of a page, note that templates are made of sections. You can create just a section and add it to your existing page layout instead of using a full-page template.

Notes

You need to choose a template that matches the page type you are creating, such as Homepage, Product page, Collection page, Blog post page, About page, or Contact page.
There is no direct way to filter templates you used before. You need to identify the template manually from the template library.
