How to create a popup in PageFly
You can create a popup in PageFly in two ways:
- Use the Popup element.
- Create a page in Store Content and use that page as a popup.
To trigger a popup from a button, text, image, or another clickable element:
- Select the element in the editor.
- Open the General tab.
- Click Action.
- Set the click action to Popup.
- Choose the popup content shown below the action setting.
For popups such as a Klaviyo sign-up form, create the form on a separate page, add the embed code to that page, then use that page as the popup content.
Limitations
- PageFly does not support showing a popup automatically when the page loads.
- PageFly does not support time-based promotional popups, such as showing a popup after a visitor stays on the page for 30 seconds.
- If you need these behaviors, use a third-party app.
If a collection page still shows the default theme after publishing, the page may need to be reassigned to the collection and published again.
