How to accept a collaborator access request in Shopify

If a support agent has sent you a collaborator access request, you can approve it in your Shopify admin.

Before you start

Only the store owner can see and accept collaborator requests.

How to accept the request

1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
2. Check the Home page for a collaborator access notification.
3. If you do not see it on Home, go to Settings > Users and permissions.
4. Find the pending collaborator request.
5. Accept the request.
6. Return to the support chat and confirm that access has been approved.

If you cannot find the request

• Make sure you are logged in as the store owner.
• Check both Home and Settings > Users and permissions.
• If the collaborator cannot resend a request, you may have a pending one already. Open Settings > Users and permissions, locate the pending request, click the three dots next to it, and remove it. This will allow a new request to be sent.

After granting access

The support agent may ask for additional information, such as the PageFly editor URL, or ask you to save changes and close the editor before they make updates.
